A walk in the park

The weather was beautiful yesterday. It was the kind of day that you cant let go to waste. So I didnt! I changed into some comfy walking clothes and walked downtown. Close to 3 miles later, I arrived at Prescott park where I took these photos. It was a perfect week to go because just about every type of flower was in bloom. There's something about Prescott Park thats magical. At any given time, you can see people of all ages admiring the gardens, watching a play, or standing at the edge of the pier. Today there was an older man sitting at one of the benches in front of the largest flower garden. He was just relaxing, reading the newspaper, alone. Probably as he does quite often. He looked so peaceful that I almost felt bad walking in front of him to take some of these pictures.
