This week is restaurant week in Portsmouth. Many local restaurants serve a limited 3 course menu for $30. The Rudi's menu sounded great so I decided to check it out. Started with the fried calamari which was almost unrecognizable due to the amount of batter that was used. Next cam the lobster ravioli which turned out to be pretty tasty. Date got the chicken marsala. Not only did it not look so great, it didn't taste good either. Chicken was blah, broccolini was cold and mushy and mashed potatoes were tough and tasteless. Boo to Rudi's! I expected better.
