New Castle: Fort Stark

We rounded the troops and took advantage of the 'warm' weather Saturday afternoon by visiting Fort Stark in New Castle. It was a perfect day for climbing, jumping, and exploring. I posted quite a few pictures so I scaled them down a bit. Don't forget you can click on any of them to enlarge.

The four of us.

One section of the fort. The coolest part is that not much is blocked off. You're pretty much able to roam free. The only limitations being: you need to be able to fit through small spaces and cant be afraid of the dark. I have the earlier covered, but there were definitely areas that we were too scarey to go into.

Timmy checking out the scene.

There's all sorts of nooks and crannies to discover.

And some spaces that are welded shut.

Nice shades.

Kellens idea of an 'artsy' pose.

That's a big tanker!

Lovebirds.

Crazy mineral deposits.
