She's Crafty!

I've found that one of the worst things about growing up is that you aren't able to see your friends on a regular basis. It seems that everyone is busy and over extended. That is definitely the case with Audra and I think she would agree with me on that one. She's a busy girl but was able to carve out some time to have a day with the girls. She was kind enough to host Craft Fest 08. We got together to have some lunch and craft our hearts out.
High crafting expectations were set and perhaps a bit too high because as you can see from the pictures, there aren't many crafts to be seen. For some reason the creative juices were not flowing for us. It could have something to do with the fact that is was freezing, or maybe we just got carried away chit chatting. Sarah overworked the sewing machine because she had trouble with 'the end vision'. Audra wasn't able to pull off the blue and silver snowflake theme. I was overwhelmed by all of the materials at hand and  could not commit to one single craft! Aside from our lack of focus it was a day well spent with fabulous friends!

Audra so happy with her veggie pot pie

Sarah digging in, so cute

This is just a small fraction of the craft mess

  1. Erica! I had a blast with you guys yesterday - my craft mojo (not to be confused with sweet baby mojo) took a long time to warm up yesterday - I managed to rock out some more tags and sets after you guys left.... but next time we plan a warm up craft!

  2. I like that you and Audra are color coordinated. That's sweet.
