My straws are gathered in an an old fashioned milk bottle that I found at an antique store a few years back. The small painting was a gift from Alina. I placed it above the hutch and think of her everytime I glance at it.
These were two great Christmas Tree finds! The paper lantern actually came with a tiny bulb inside and lights up.
Every Portuguese house calls for some Port wine.

A pot holder and oven mitt that Matt & Lisa gave me this past xmas hangs above my stove. They are my 'display' oven mitts because I dont dare use them. Lisa picked them out from Anthropology, she has a great way of personalizing each gift she gives.
These are the beat up doors to the hutch. Surprisingly, they photograph well.
